About this blog

Through this blog we want to share with you some information regarding the values, the working culture and the hiring opportunities at 1&1 Internet Development Romania. In addition our blog will take you inside our company to meet the people behind the products and the technology behind our services. We will feature many interesting posts about Web hosting and Internet trends, technologies and products developed by our teams in Bucharest – in general about anything that makes us proud to be part of the 1&1 team.

We invite you to take part in the discussions. We wish to create a community atmosphere where current and future IT specialists with high interest in the Web Hosting and Internet world can learn and share from each other. Although we create the content for the blog, we depend on you to help us make this an active community.

However, in order to make this a pleasant environment for everyone, we have set some basic guidelines that we will follow while managing this blog. A list of all blog rules can be found below.

Blog Rules

We invite and encourage comments. By enabling them, we offer you the opportunity to objectively discuss the blog posts. For this to be guaranteed, we ask you to respect the following rules:

  1. Comments on this blog are being moderated. This means that each comment must be approved by our blog team. Your contribution will, therefore, not appear immediately and especially on weekends, there might be delays in activation (because here we only work 5 days/week).
  2. All comments must have a valid e-mail address. The e-mail address will not be published. Posts without a valid e-mail address or with fake addresses will be deleted.
  3. Please ensure that your comment refers to the current article. “Off-topic” comments are not enabled.
  4. Comments that include insults, obscenity, personal attacks, or illegal content will be deleted. We understand that some of our readers will want to voice complaints and possibly disagreements to our point of view and those of other commenter’s. Please understand that there is a respectful way to do this.
  5. We encourage our blog visitors to leave a link to their own website/blog; however, obvious spam and links to adult content will be deleted.
  6. In particular, we do not publish comments containing personal data (such as name, e-mail address, telephone number) from third parties, unless they have expressly agreed. Please do not publish your personal information.
  7. It is not permitted to advertise third-party products on this blog, especially not for competitors. This also applies to user names.
  8. Please consider that this blog is not a support forum. Support requests without reference to the respective blog post will not be published. The fastest way to process your request will be through 1&1’s established support channels.

Now that you have kindly considered our rules, we wish you to have fun and be active.
We look forward to getting to know you.
