Running as a Lifestyle

running workout @ 1&1The concept of being healthy can be approached in several ways: physically, mentally, culinarily, but in the end, the most important thing is to find that balance to combine them all.

For me, “running” started out as a “must”, I needed to start running, doing more exercise etc. Subsequently, it became a hobby and ultimately turned into a lifestyle.

I used to be a handball player, and running seemed terribly to me. I hated training without the ball, when we were asked to run aimlessly. With the passage of time, I realized that the easiest, simplest and most affordable way to move is to run. I started running short distances, which subsequently became increasingly longer.

One of the most enjoyable places to run in Bucharest is the Herastrau Park, a route of about 6 km which you can cover while chatting with your friends.

A workshop like a day off with your friends

When I found out about the workshop, I didn’t know what to expect. I only assumed that a 6 hours talk about our career path would be a little boring.I didn’t know that a workshop is much more than a simple presentation. (Luiza, trainee at 1&1)

As a member of the Technical Editors team, I have significant experience in working with students. And as a regular attendee at the Presentation Skills Club, I was eager to put into practice all the tips and tricks I’ve learned from Dan, our trainer. When the HR team invited me to give a presentation to the 1&1 trainees, I decided right away to hold a career planning workshop. Why career planning?
